新闻稿 – Westwood航运品牌将整合并入太古轮船

新加坡 – 太古轮船今日宣布,深耕太平洋西北地区与东北亚地区之间贸易运输服务的船舶运营商Westwood航运公司(“Westwood”)将于2024年2月1日正式将 Westwood品牌整合并入太古轮船。太古轮船于2022年6月收购Westwood,作为扩张其北美班轮服务网络的发展战略之一。

本次品牌重塑以Westwood在太平洋西北地区和东北亚地区的深厚底蕴为基础,通过发挥太古轮船全球网络在集装箱、班轮服务网络和项目方面的协同效应和能力,为北美、日本、韩国和中国的客户提供更加丝滑的服务体验。

太古轮船首席运营官 澎湃(Ben Pike)表示:“整合Westwood航运公司反映了我们在北太平洋地区的持续投资与扩张。凭借我们对于安全、卓越运营、可持续发展和可靠性方面的共同价值观,我们必将提升自身服务水平,为客户提供更强有力的价值主张。”

太古轮船将继续运营Westwood位于华盛顿州Puyallup的办事处作为其北美业务的区域中心。Westwood的航线将由七艘太古轮船自有船队的船舶在扩大的全球网络内运营,其中四艘将保留现有的Westwood船名和绿色船身,以纪念其130年的悠久历史。

新任太古轮船北美区总裁Harry Stones表示:“Westwood以可靠和优质著称,在北美和北亚地区拥有一批粘性很高的忠实客户和服务合作伙伴。这标志着一个激动人心的新篇章的开始。我们期待继续扩大我们的运力并进一步建立我们在该地区作为创新型全球航运和物流解决方案领先供应商的地位。Westwood航线将协同“Sun Chief Express Ocean Service”和“美国西海岸至太平洋群岛”航线补充太古轮船在北美地区的其他服务能力。”

太古轮船已整合其在日本的代理业务,将之前由Ben Line Agencies (Japan) Ltd 和 Senwa Maritime Agency Ltd负责的代理业务收回公司内部。为维持稳固客户关系并确保业务服务的连续性,Ben Line Agencies和Senwa Maritime的员工将被调往我们新的分公司。
