Pacific North Asia (PNA)/Papua New Guinea (PNG) Service – Vessels Swap

12/02/2025

12/02/2025

Please be advised of the vessel swaps between MV. HIGHLAND CHIEF and MV. CORAL CHIEF on the PNA service, and MV. PAPUAN CHIEF on the PNG service.

1) MV. HIGHLAND CHIEF will phase out of the PNA service on voyage 2504N/2510S at Busan and will be going to dry dock for planned maintenance.

2) MV. CORAL CHIEF will phase into PNA service at Busan, operating voyage A2510S from Busan to Noumea (SB), phasing out at Noumea on voyage A2510S and will join PNG service to cover voyage 2510N/S.

3) MV. PAPUAN CHIEF will phase out of the PNG service on voyage 2508S at Honiara, and phase into the PNA service operating voyage 2510S/N from Noumea (SB) back to North Asia. As a result of this change, please note that Papuan Chief 2510S/N will omit Lautoka and Suva due to schedule management requirements. Any inbound cargo to Fiji loaded from Asia will tranship in Noumea and connect with PWX service.

Schedules will be published this week reflecting the vessel changes and dates. Our local representatives will be in touch with affected customers to discuss alternative cargo solutions.

We appreciate your continued support and look forward to working with you. Should you have any questions, please contact your local Swire Shipping representative.
