North Asia (NAT) and Pacific North Asia (PNA) Services – Vessel Maintenance and Deployment Changes
To facilitate routine maintenance requirements for Swire Shipping’s Pacific-Class vessels in 2023 and beyond, the following deployment changes will be made within our NAT and PNA services:
- MV. Kiribati Chief will complete NAT voyage 2307N at Kaohsiung in June, enter drydock for maintenance, and phase back into the NAT service at Sri Racha in August to commence voyage 2312S/N.
- MV. Majuro Chief will complete NAT voyage 2308N at Kaohsiung in July, enter drydock for maintenance, and phase into the PNA service at Kaohsiung in August to commence voyage 2318S/N. The Majuro Chief will remain in PNA thereafter.
- MV. Noumea Chief will complete PNA voyage 2314N at Kaohsiung in August, enter drydock for maintenance, and phase into the NAT service at Sri Racha in September to commence voyage 2314S/N. The Noumea Chief will remain in NAT thereafter.
- MV. Siangtan will complete NAT voyage 2310N at Kaohsiung in September, enter drydock for maintenance, and phase back into the NAT service at Sri Racha in October to commence NAT voyage 2315S/N.
- MV. Samoa Chief (NAT) and MV. Vanuatu Chief (PNA) are unaffected by this maintenance programme and will continue to operate unchanged to their current schedules.
As a result of the above changes, the NAT voyage 2311S/N will be blanked. Dates for NAT voyages before and after will be adjusted and additional port coverage added to ensure sufficient coverage to and from affected markets. Schedules will be published this week reflecting these changes and our local representatives will be in touch with affected customers to discuss alternative cargo solutions.
