NEW East Timor Service (ETS)

10/03/2023

Swire Shipping is pleased to announce a new East Timor Service (ETS), which will provide coverage between Indonesia, Singapore, East Timor and Australia.

With effect from about mid-April 2023 onwards , we will offer:

• Two vessels operating on the ETS – MV. Kota Hidayah, and MV. Kokopo Chief
• 10 days frequency between Singapore, Dili and Darwin and Surabaya
• Breakbulk capability on the MV. Kokopo Chief

The new port rotation of the ETS will be Singapore – Dili – Darwin – Surabaya – Singapore. Further details will be published in our schedule this week.

The MV. Kokopo Chief is a multi-purpose vessel which can accommodate breakbulk cargo. Each of her 3 vessel cranes is capable of 45 tonnes single lift, with a combined loading capacity of 80 tonnes. The MV. Kota Hidayah is a CV1100 container vessel which can accommodate breakbulk cargo packed on flat rack containers.

The new service provides customers with direct port calls into Surabaya and Darwin, with an improved frequency to Singapore and Dili. Customers shipping to Dili and Darwin from Singapore can look forward to fast transit time of 8 days and 11 days respectively every 10 days.

We continue to invest in our product offerings so that we can improve overall customer experience and save our customers’ time. The latest in our product offerings, the new ETS Service reflects our commitment to better serve customers and communities in the Asia-East Timor-Australia regions.
