06/10/2022

Dear Valued Customers,

Swire Shipping has received official notification from Timor Port SA that the transfer to the new terminal is now effective. We would therefore like to announce our updated local charges for the handling of import and export cargo in Tibar Port.

Our Destination Port Service Charge (DPS) and Origin Port Service Charge (OPS) will be applied for all cargo from voyage 127E / 127W.

Special equipment is for in gauge cargo only.

Tibar Port terminal will allow a much wider range and size of vessel to call in Timor Leste and will result in more efficient operations and services for both carriers and our customers. Trials are underway to achieve this. Swire Shipping’s updated local charges reflect this upgrade and the difference in costs that we will incur and that need to be recovered.

We thank you for your understanding and appreciate your continued support.

Please contact your local customer service representative should you have any questions.
