Notice – Service Enhancement – Australia to/from Pacific Islands Service
Dear Valued Customers,
We are pleased to announce the enhancement of our direct Australia to/from Pacific Islands Service. Driven by customer feedback and the continued support from our customers, today we are delighted to confirm the service’s return to operating two vessels and the following service enhancements.
The MV MELANESIAN CHIEF (CV1100) will phase into the Australia to/from Pacific Islands Service from mid-December 2022, accompanying the MV ARKADIA (CV1500).
Service frequency will be enhanced from the current 26 days to 14 days (fortnightly), continuing to provide direct port coverage from Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane AU to Noumea NC, Port Vila VU, Lautoka and Suva FJ. As with other services in our network, we continue to invest in fixed day products to support our customers’ supply chains.
*Eastern Pacific Ports Apia WS, Pago Pago AS, Nuku’alofa TO and Papeete PF will continue under transhipment connection, serviced via Suva FJ, with an improved frequency to 14 days and reduced overall transit times.

There will be a period of schedule / voyage date changes for future voyages as we align and integrate the enhancements within the network. We will look to minimise any potential impact or inconvenience as best possible.
