BUNKER ADJUSTMENT FACTOR (BAF)
FOR SOUTHBOUND CARGO – EX NORTH ASIA TO
PAPUA NEW GUINEA AND SOLOMON ISLANDS – FEBRUARY 2014


Further to monitoring of IFO 380 cst fuel prices, Swire Shipping would like to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) being charged for all Southbound cargo from North Asia to Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands will increase as follows:


January BAF                                                                                February BAF
USD $640 / TEU                                                                           USD $660 / TEU
USD $1,280 / FEU                                                                        USD $1,320 / FEU
USD $36.00 / RT (Break-bulk / LCL)                                            USD $37.00 / RT (Break-bulk / LCL)

 

The surcharge will apply for all consignments showing a Bill of Lading date of
1 February 2014 or later on the North Asia Service.
