BUNKER ADJUSTMENT FACTOR (BAF)
FOR SOUTHBOUND CARGO – EX NORTH ASIA TO
PAPUA NEW GUINEA AND SOLOMON ISLANDS – JUNE 2012


Further to monitoring of IFO 380 cst fuel prices, Swire Shipping would like to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) being charged for all Southbound cargo from North Asia to Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands has been decreased as follows:


June 2012 BAF levels:

US$ 760 / 20ft

US$ 1,520 / 40ft

US$ 42.25 / RT (for Break-bulk and LCL cargoes)


The surcharge will apply for all consignments showing a Bill of Lading date of 1 June 2012 or later on the North Asia Service.
