New Service - Australia to The Pacific Islands

To our valued customers,

Swire Shipping is pleased to announce that, with effect from April 2012, it will launch a new dedicated shipping service from Australia to key markets in New Caledonia, Vanuatu and Kiribati.  The service will be operated with an MCP Class 7,664DWT vessel, Micronesian Pride, with a capacity of 380 teu at a nominal 14 tonnes. The service will operate with a frequency of every 35 days and will add more capacity for both containerised and break-bulk cargoes between Australia and key Pacific Islands markets. The new service will complement Swire Shipping's existing portfolio of services to the Pacific Islands region, resulting in an unparalleled service network.


The service will offer the following transit times:
