Exports from Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands

 

Due to upcoming changes with IMO2020 regulations, Swire Shipping now has requirements for both IFO380 and IMO 2020 compliant fuel types. Swire Shipping wishes to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) applicable on Exports from Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands will increase as outlined below.

Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) 

USD 695.00 per TEU

USD 1,390.00 per FEU

USD 34.75 per r/t

The above surcharge will apply for all consignments showing a Swire Shipping Bill of Lading date of 1st October 2019 or later for connections from Papua New Guinea or Solomon Islands to:

• Solomon Islands (from Papua New Guinea)

• Fiji

• Micronesia

• New Caledonia

• New Zealand

• Vanuatu

• Majuro, Nauru, and Rarotonga

• Samoa, American Samoa, Papeete, Nuku’alofa, Kiribati

 

A further review of bunker fuel prices will occur at the end September 2019 for application for November 2019 sailings.
