BUNKER ADJUSTMENT FACTOR (BAF) – October 2019

Dear Valued Customers,

Due to upcoming changes with IMO2020 regulations, Swire Shipping now has requirements for both IFO380 and IMO 2020 compliant fuel types. Swire Shipping wishes to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) applicable for Asia Trades will increase as follows for the month of October 2019:

Swire Asia Trades

USD 695 / TEU

USD 1390 / FEU

USD 34.75 / RT (Breakbulk / LCL)

The above surcharge will apply for all consignments showing a Swire Shipping Bill of Lading date of 1 October 2019 or later for connections to/from Asia and:

• Australia

• East Timor

• Fijis

• Micronesia

• New Caledonia

• New Zealand

• Papua New Guinea

• Solomon Islands

• Vanuatu

• Majuro, Nauru, and Rarotonga

• Samoa, American Samoa, Papeete, Nuku’alofa, Kiribati
