Following review of the IFO 380 fuel prices, Swire Shipping wishes to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) applicable on Exports from Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands will be increased as outlined below.

Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) 

USD 620.00 per TEU

USD 1,240.00 per FEU

USD 31.00 per r/t

The above surcharge will apply for all consignments showing a Swire Shipping Bill of Lading date of 1 April 2019 or later for connections from Papua New Guinea or Solomon Islands to:

• Solomon Islands (from Papua New Guinea)

• Fiji

• Micronesia

• New Caledonia

• New Zealand

• Vanuatu

• Majuro, Nauru, and Rarotonga

• Samoa, American Samoa, Papeete, Nuku’alofa, Kiribati


A further review of bunker fuel prices will occur at the end March 2019 for application for May 2019 sailings.
