SCHEDULE CHANGES

The challenges we have faced with schedule disruptions over past months continue to plague us and have manifested in bunching of vessels along the Australian coast. With Papuan Chief v0027N, Island Chief v0034N, Highland Chief v0143N and Kokopo Chief v1201N within days of each other along the Australian coast we have reviewed the port rotation and cargo profiles of all vessels in order to uplift all cargo booked and cover all discharge ports in PNG.

Our goal is to deliver the cargo as early as possible and clear all cargo on the berth.We apologise for any inconvenience these changes may cause however we believe the changes we have made will result in prompt delivery for most cargo and minimal delay for others.

Revised rotations and dates for aforementioned vessels are as follows:

The effect of these changes on your cargo is outlined below, vessel by vessel in the hope of simplifying the information.

PAPUAN CHIEF V0027N

Cargo booked to load Brisbane for:

·Lae:Will transfer to Island Chief v0034N.

Island Chief is in Brisbane 2 days later than the last advertised date for Papuan Chief and the cargo is due to arrive Lae 2 days later also.

All other cargo will remain unchanged.

ISLAND CHIEF V0034N

Cargo booked to load Melbourne for:

·Lae:Will transfer to Highland Chief v0143N.

Highland Chief is in Melbourne 3 days later than the last advertised date for Island Chief however as Lae is her first port in PNG; the cargo is scheduled to arrive Lae as originally planned.

·Lihir:Will transfer to Highland Chief v0143N.

Cargo will arrive Lihir one day later than originally scheduled for Island Chief v0034N.

·Honiara:Will transfer to Kokopo Chief v1201N.

Regretfully this cargo will arrive 5 days later than planned.

ISLAND CHIEF V0034N

Cargo booked to load Port Kembla for:

·Lae:Will remain on Island Chief v0034N however vessel will call

Newcastle not Port Kembla.

The revised schedule means cargo is due to arrive Lae 3 days earlier than planned.

The MCS metro-port option will operate for this vessel only.

·Lihir:Will transfer to Kokopo Chief v1201N.

Regretfully cargo will arrive Lihir 2 days later than originally scheduled for Island Chief v0034N.

·Honiara:Will transfer to Kokopo Chief v1201N.

Regretfully this cargo will arrive 5 days later than planned.

ISLAND CHIEF V0034N

Cargo booked to load Brisbane for:

·Lae:Will transfer to Highland Chief v0143N.

The Brisbane dates for the Highland Chief are as per original dates for Island Chief, as is the arrival date in Lae.

·Lihir:Will transfer to Highland Chief v0143N.

Cargo will arrive Lihir one day later than originally scheduled.

·Honiara:Will transfer to Kokopo Chief v1201N.

Regretfully this cargo will arrive 5 days later than planned.

HIGHLAND CHIEF V0143N

Cargo booked to load Melbourne for:

·Lae:Will remain on this vessel.

ETA for Island Chief in Lae is 7 days earlier than scheduled for the Highland Chief.

·Lihir:Will remain on this vessel.

Cargo is due to arrive 6 days earlier than planned.

·Port Moresby:Will transfer to Kokopo Chief v1201N.

There is no delay to the cargo.

HIGHLAND CHIEF V0143N

Cargo booked to load Newcastle for:

·Lae:Will transfer to Island Chief v0034N, still loading at Newcastle.

Vessel is due to arrive Newcastle 4 days earlier than planned.

ETA for Island Chief in Lae is 7 days earlier than scheduled for the Highland Chief.

·Lihir:Will transfer to Kokopo Chief v1201N loading Port Kembla not

Newcastle.

There is no delay to the cargo.

·Port Moresby:Will transfer to Kokopo Chief v1201N loading Port Kembla not

Newcastle.

There is no delay to the cargo.

HIGHLAND CHIEF V0143N

Cargo booked to load Brisbane for:

·Lae:Will remain on this vessel.

ETA for Island Chief in Lae is 7 days earlier than scheduled for the Highland Chief.

·Lihir:Will remain on this vessel.

Cargo is due to arrive 6 days earlier than planned.

·Port Moresby:Will transfer to Kokopo Chief v1201N.

There is no delay to the cargo.

KOKOPO CHIEF v1201N

No changes to cargo currently booked on this vessel although please note:

1.A call at Port Kembla has been added to the rotation for this vessel.

2.This voyage will work at Appleton Dock in Melbourne.
