Swire Shipping to Commence Calls to SAIPAN

5thJuly 2016

Swire Shipping to Commence Calls to SAIPAN

Swire Shipping is delighted to announce the commencement of direct calls to Saipan on
our North Asia (NAT) service.

Four years after establishing our service in Guam, Swire Shipping is pleased to be able
to continue to build on our service offer, and to expand our presence in this region.

The service will operate every 18 days and will feature the ability to accept both
containers (dry and reefer) and break-bulk.

The four vessels operated on this service were all built in 2013, and aside from being
extremely energy efficient, they are also extremely capable, boasting a lift capacity of
up to 120mt.

Through the wider Swire Shipping network, we will be able to provide efficient options to
connect cargo with Saipan from all over the world including the USA and Europe.

The service will also provide a vital trade link between Guam and Saipan for those customers
trading on this route.

The service will commence in September with the first arriving vessel (Soochow v1615s) due
in Saipan in early October.
