BUNKER ADJUSTMENT FACTOR FOR SOUTHBOUND CARGO TO PAPUA NEW GUINEA AND THE SOLOMON ISLANDS

Further to monitoring of IFO 380 fuel prices, Swire Shipping would like to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) being charged for all Southbound cargo from South East Asia and North Asia to Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands in March 2010 will be as follows:-

US$ 480 / 20ft
US$ 960 / 40ft
US$ 26 / RT (for Breakbulk and LCL cargoes)

The new BAF charges will be implemented on the following voyages in March 2010:

South East Asia Service: MV Pacific Mariner V23 ETA Port Klang 8 March 2010 / MV Fesco Vladimir V1008 ETA Port Klang 5 March 2010 / MV Pacific Navigator V1008 ETA Jakarta 6 March 2010
North Asia Service: MV Tasman TBN V1005 ETD Busan 3 March 2010

Swire Shipping will review the BAF on these trade lanes monthly, tracking it on the Platts IFO380 market price and reduce or increase our BAF accordingly.
